Welcome back to Monday Wisdom. How was your weekend? We had a cold weekend. Flurries in the air and temperatures in the 30* F. 

 

Happy November Continues! It is Thankfulness Month:)  Let’s continue learning about Thankfulness and Gratitude.

Here is a Gratitude Bump For You

 

Gratitude is a gift for yourself and your family and friends. Gratitude will help you get BETTER SLEEP.

According to the CDC, One in four American Adults does not get the sleep they need. They are missing out on proven health benefits. Here are a few examples – lowered chances of diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Gratitude can help. Those who rate themselves as more grateful report better sleep quality, longer sleep, and a greater ability to fall asleep quickly.

A Healthy Heart is a Happy Heart. Gratitude will help create Better Hearth Health. Including reduced inflammation, lower hemoglobin, and better heart rate variability.

 

Gratitude is a gift for yourself and your family and friends. How can you utilize this information and practice gratitude this week?

  1. Smile more often.
  2. Watch inspiring videos or listen to an inspiring Audible book.
  3. Include an act of kindness in your life each day.
  4. Avoid negative media and movies with destructive content. (this will help a lot!)
  5. Call your mom or dad more often. (or close family/friend)
  6. Cook meals with love.
